A life in sound.

Fred worked as a live sound engineer before moving into the development of high-specification 3D audio systems. Alongside that professional work, a deep passion for high-fidelity audio has always been there.

Fred.Audio brings those two sides together: the experience of building sound systems and the personal pleasure of listening to music at home.

Handmade in Cornwall.

Fred builds Fred.Audio hi-fi by hand, here in Cornwall. The name on the equipment is the name of the person behind it.

That personal connection matters. This is hi-fi approached as something to make with care and live with for years, not simply another piece of equipment to replace.

For the music you love.

The point of a good system is what you do with it. Put on a favourite record. Spend time with an album you have never heard before. Notice something new in a song you thought you knew.

Fred.Audio is built around that lasting love of listening. Professional experience behind the sound; music at the heart of it.
